Mark has severe hemophilia A and many of its complications, such as AIDS, hepatitis C, and severe arthritis in several joints. As a youth, Mark traveled the country as an HIV/AIDS and hemophilia advocate and educator. Mark has shared his personal story to over a hundred high schools, colleges, businesses and other youth groups as well as being featured on NPR, the Disney Channel, MTV, local television and radio stations and has been published in several magazines and books.
Currently Mark is managing the client relations department at American Homecare Federation, Inc. (AHF), a homecare company that works specifically with individuals with bleeding disorders. Mark has also worked for MTV Films, MTV Home Video, VH1 On-Air Promotions, and started his own production company. Any spare time available, he always dedicates towards local, regional, national and international charities and causes.
