Jessica (Jess) Swann

Jessica Swann is Director, Marketing & Community Relations at Biogen Idec Hemophilia in Weston, Massachusetts. She has more than 15 years experience in the health care sector, with a special emphasis on hemophilia. Jess previously worked as Area Business Manager for hemophilia in Northern California at Bayer HealthCare. Before working at Bayer, Jess spent six years as the Executive Director for the Hemophilia Association of San Diego County.

Jess is an accomplished and passionate fundraiser. While volunteering for the Hemophilia Foundation of Northern California (HFNC), she co-developed a successful fundraiser, “Speeders for Bleeders,” which raised over $100,000 in two years. As co-chair of HFNC’s Sonoma Mission Inn Wine Event, she helped increase the profitability and attendance of the event significantly over several years.

She has an MBA from the University of California Berkeley, with a focus on international marketing, brand management and designing global organizations. A fan of international travel, Jess is especially fond of exploring the worlds’ wine regions. Jess lives in Massachusetts with her husband Brian Curry, a pilot and avid aviator, and son Jack.
