Dr. Kapil Saxena

Kapil Saxena is an instructor in pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and Associate Director at the Boston Hemophilia Center, located at Children’s Hospital Boston. He joined the Save One Life board in 2010.

Kapil has focused his medical career on hematology and oncology. He received his initial medical training at the JLN Medical College at the University of Rajashtan in India. He interned and completed his residency at Case Western Reserve University, and undertook a three-year fellowship in pediatric hemotology oncology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

He has been involved with the medical care of hemophilia patients over the last few years. In addition, he has volunteered with the World Federation of Hemophilia. Growing up in India gives him a unique insight of health care in developing countries.
