A bleeding disorder is an inherited condition in which the blood does not clot properly. It is found in every country in the world and affects people of every race. More than 75% of people with bleeding disorders receive little to no treatment, and are prone to internal bleeds in their joints and vital organs. When not properly treated, bleeding disorders can lead to severe crippling, brain damage and death.
